Okay, so I'm not actually crying or anything during this episode - I'm just all over the board b/c I'm SO HAPPY that I've finally reached my 10% weight loss goal! And for me - that's a BIG deal!

And I'm sorry I haven't posted here in 20 days, but the last podcast or two - I've just had SO MUCH other stuff going on that I wasn't able to do anything. But things have been their usual trainwreck - Chi-Chi is in hospital AGAIN, Dottie got into YET ANOTHER car accident, I've given a "throw down" to Spanking Bea Arthur, and I talk about my most recent first date (first one in... 2 yrs?) - SHIT! talk about a dry spell! Dang!

I have no plans for NYE beyond staying safetly inside my own house! And knowing my luck - I'll probably be reading or something and COMPLETELY miss the ball dropping again. Oh well - wouldn't be the first year! But I'm REALLY excited - America's Pod Casting Sweetheart has graciously agreed to join me on New Years Day to record! And I'm SO EXCITED!!! I'm sorry - I'm like any other "regular" groupie/fan - to have joined Archer's gang bang show TWO DAYS IN A ROW and now for Tim to come on my show - it's BIG things to me! I still remember how excited I got when Mary (A Drink To Be Sober) read my very first MySpace email that I had sent her. But if ANYONE SOMEONE could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know that you're out there and give me any type of feedback on ANY of the items I mentioned on this show - I'd be REALLY grateful! Because I'm still kinda bummed that my listener line is now defunct...

Could We Just Get Along?

Hey everyone! Hope y'all are recovering from being forced to eat too much turkey and spending time with family members that they may or may not like that much. Thankfully - my turkey came out very well, and I was able to clean everything up very quickly - which is ALWAYS a plus!

But I need to head up to bed - this migraine is kicking my ass and the more I try to type coherently - I swear the more it hurts! Anyone wanna go see Quantam of Solace with me? HAHA!

Sex Afterglow!

Hey Everyone!

All things considered - I'm still in a good mood. I got a RAGE recording out yesterday, that I have decided not to post because I have to believe in karma and how everything you put out - you get back times three! But anyways - the Pet Hobo came up last night and we had good times! Granted, now I'm paying for it with my back but that's what I get and it's what I wanted.

But yeah - I tried hard to not let any of the rage seep into this recording that I'm posting tonight, because it's just not worth it. I have to remember that I graduated from high school 10 years ago and that I might be one of the youngest pod casters out here...? So, I don't need to be as catty as others. So, this time - I talk about a few different things, including letting some music "greet" you when you first press play. Hope I don't "offend" anyone's ears by my choice of music?! And for anyone that might be wondering (because I'm not sure if I addressed it in my last one) everyone is FINALLY home from the hospital and trying to recover. So that's good, and I'm very grateful/thankful and humble for everyone's thoughts/wishes for my family. Also, I talk about how I feel that actually cooking a full turkey for Thanksgiving is like a rite of passage. I mean, last year wasn't the firs Thanksgiving that I celebrated, but normally - I was living at home, making it with Dottie (while we were still getting along), then it was going to the house after I was kicked out, and then my first Thanksgiving in my house - I made turkey breasts because I was that scared/broke, and last year I made the full bird, and I'll be doing it again this year! Thankfully - I don't try to deep fry it!!!

But I truly hope that everyone is doing well and I may or may not be back before Thanksgiving - and incase I'm not - I hope that everyone is safe and remembers that Thanksgiving isn't just an excuse to OD on tryptophan! And here's to hoping that I can come out of this holiday season without GAINING weight!!!!???

Ramblings of a Crazy Girl

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been a bit quiet - but I was trying to make sure I didn't go over on my Libsyn storage space. I literally, ramble on, even worse then Tom the Ramble Redhead, in this installment! But I'm just a tad bit out of it, but that's OKAY!

By the way - the car accident that I talk about, for longer then I should have probably, occurred on May 4, 2006. Attached is one of the pictures of my poor poor baby afterwards... Yeah, she didn't survive but that's a good thing because she was dying as it was! It was a VERY PAINFUL and very well drug hazed "miracle" in disguise...? Who knows!

But it's REALLY fucking late and I'm too tired to continue... I really hope that everyone is well, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me, myspace me or call me?!?! I love to know that y'all are out there!!!

Why I Hate Video Games!

Okay, so I'm back and I'm sick. It BLOWS! But what blows more - I have given into other's demands and plugged in my PS2 downstairs. Now I can't stop playing this fucking game and OMFG my thumb is turning purple and SO NOT in a good way! But I hope that everyone is well and hopefully when I sit down to record again - my thumb and voice will be back to normal!?

And I apologize for my coughing, for what it's worth - I did turn my head away from the mic.

... at least - not yet! I just don't always keep up with my blogging. I'm also a bit confused about how much space/room I have left on my Libsyn page. B/c my credit card gets charged on the 13th of each month, and I've posted one blog since then and it takes up a TON of space... Who knows! Because I might not be able to record for a little while now... I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!!

But anyways - I have finally gotten a new mic, and if anyone listened to my "Testing Testing 1, 2, 3..." show - they know that I wasn't able to record properly. But I really think that I fixed that problem, though I'm still learning. I really hope that everyone is doing well, because Lord knows that I'm only holding onto my "life" by downing LOTS of K's, vodka and using items that have batteries! But HOPEFULLY!!! Mamma will be getting some nookie tomorrow night!!!

In this episode - I give an update on my dad, whose still in the ICU at this point because his blood pressure is SO FUCKED up, so Cupcake's here and driving me CRA-CRA!, and I talk about the Halloween attractions that Ricky and I overpaid for.

No Means NO, Dumbass!

Okay, so this time around - I let you into a very personal aspect of my life. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE understand that while I was never forced into something I didn't want - I was pressured but I stood my ground!

No person, regardless of gender, preference, or subject matter, should be forced or guilted into something that they don't want to do. Which is basically what someone had tried to do - guilt me into something by playing on my emotions... It takes a special brand of a person to be able to say "no" and to stand their ground. But, I honestly believe we all have had some experience(s) in our history that we weren't able to say "no" to and stick to our guns... I know that I have that, but what I have learned - is that I'm no longer weak and I can say "no".

I may at a future time, go a little deeper with what I was talking about, but after almost 20 so odd years from the beginning of it all - I don't dwell on it anymore. A person becomes stagnant (WOO-HOO! My college education paying off with the use of a big word!) if they stop living and only focus on one bad aspect of their life...

Please, for the love of WHATEVER or WHOEVER you may or may not believe in, get help if something ever happens to you. There are TONS of local and national services available. You're letting the other person win if you dwell and fester...

But I love you all, and not just for tuning into my show every week (or so), because a person has to be able to love. If for no other reason then to try to cancel out some of hate that we feel towards others... And go check out Mentalwarts Radio - I have my own THEME MUSIC!!! If the CRS doesn't kick in next time - I'll try to remember to explain that one!

For the Love of Benadryl

Okay, so like I said at the very end of my show and in the show notes - I'm sorry for sniffling and moving about a lot. The weather around here has SERIOUSLY blown lately and it's getting to me. But this time around, I joke about how it took me a number of recordings before I was able to sit down, record and like what I said. Because I do have to keep in mind how much of my life I'm willing to put out there, because while I use an email address that most of my friends don't know about - I'm not willing to risk an exboyfriend stumbling across my cast!

I also talk about how I've tried to squelch Boy Genius's sticky fingers and I also talk about September 11th. I didn't mean to talk about it for so long, but it sort of just turned out that way. I love that I've gotten some more reviews on iTunes, and I've gotten my first two voicemails!!! Granted - I didn't play them, but it's because I'm still pretty novice about pod casting!

I hope everyone is doing well and like my therapist says - That's all the time we have for today!

I hate coming up with these!

Okay, so I recorded over the weekend. I was REAL original with the name too! I called is "Honah meets Hanna" kind of as an ode to the wonderful weather I was having all day Saturday!

I'm also still proud of the fact that I was able to keep all of my emotions in check as I took the Boy Genius to his first day of Kindergarten! Cupcake also started her first day of High School - but she's too busy bitching about the walk and how messed up her schedule is. Oh well babe!

There have been two books that I have read recently read and gave reviews on. The one - I totally suggest reading the one "Cocktails for Three" and I TOTALLY suggest AVOIDING the other "The Diary of a Mistress". I'm still open and hoping for some more suggestions on books to read.

Okay, so far I've already posted two episodes on iTunes and have gotten two AMAZING plugs (thus far) from two AMAZING friends - Archerr of ArcherRadio (check him out!) and Mary from A Drink To Be Sober (check her out too!).

I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing - but we'll all figure this out together! I've "introduced" a few family members so far - Dottie is my mother (if you ever saw Armageddon - the old guy in the first scene... yeah!), Daddy is naturally The Bank of Dad, Cupcake is my 14 yr old sister, Chi-Chi Rodriguez is my 12 yr old brother (again - another movie reference), The Future Belly Dancer is my 12 yr old sister, Shithead is my son's sperm donor, Boy Genuis (Nickelodeon tv reference) is my WONDERFUL (and very soon to be) 6 yr old son, and naturally - I'm your WONDERFUL(?) host - Princess Honah!
